Ebert, Robert and Sara (The Best Critics)

Last night I was watching the news and they said that the amount of people going to movies has declined from last year. It was funny to see them search through all these reasons: the movies are getting bad, people just buy dvds now, etc. Maybe I was the only one to think this, but they left out the most important reason (those dumbasses)--THE PRICE!

Insolent fools! hehehe, no just kidding. But really, the price is a huge factor. I, spent $9, count em, $9 the other day to go see a silly J Lo movie. Well I didn't spend my own money, but you get the idea. I've heard recently that they're going to raise it to $10. Maybe this is just the crazy price in New York, but I definitely don't go see random movies anymore...they have to be referred to me by a friend or they have to have some hot actor in them (haha, come on...you like the hot actors too!).

I just had to bring this factor up to attention, since the TV reporters missed it...idiots!

I just don't want movie theaters to go away (the news brought up this point). There's something magical about the atmosphere there that you can never duplicate--right down to the crying baby 2 rows ahead of you. That's why we love movie theaters, we love everything about them.

And where else would I see Michael Vartan's face 20 feet high? Just a dvd wouldn't suffice. So please, guys, stop raising the prices and keep the movie theaters around. You'll surely see a change in attendance.

Hey,

Stumbled here from Sagnik's blog. But I'm finding your blog impossible to read using Firefox. :(
And I hate using IE. I use it only in case of emergencies...

Hi, I'm soooo sorry that you are having difficulty reading my blog. I'm one of the few people that hasn't switched over to the growing popularity of Firefox yet. And even though you hate IE, but I THINK( now this may seem a bit over confident) that in my case, a special exception can be made. And plus, if you are computer savvy and would like to give me some pointers on how to improve the look of my blog on firefox i would greatly appreciate it :-D

1) meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0" << WORST HTML EDITOR EVER

2) Restructure the site. Build it from the ground up again. Use either html tidy (www.w3.org) and find/fix the problems or just use a real editor. If WYSIWYG is your thing, use a free editor like the one available from netscape/mozilla or Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver you'll probably pirate but pirating is just bad ethics so don't. Use netscape or mozilla's editor. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles you'd find in Dreamweaver or Frontpage (yuck), but the html that it generates are 100% compliant with every web browser. Here are a few links you might consider:

1) Mozilla:
http://www.mozilla.org/editor/

2) HTML Tidy:
http://www.w3.org/People/Raggett/tidy/

3) N|Vu (modified version of Mozilla Editor with a little bit more features)
http://www.nvu.com

4) W3
http://www.w3.org << use this to understand the html tags and learn to use them properly through their tutorials.

By the way, if you use the validator tools, specifically the HTML validator to check how well your html is conforming to the standard, check this site: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.seraphicangl313.blogspot.com

Look how bad the IE HTML is. HORRIBLE.

Well have fun. Buy Buy.

Thanks for the insults and the tips "Anonymous", but I have no idea what you are talking about. As everyone knows I'm not too great with this html stuff. If you would like to help me, then speak to me in a way that I can understand.

If you really wanna make this as easy as possible, then I say pick a pre-made template that blogger provides. From there, start modifying it from "edit template" under "Template" tab.

Another possibility is you can open up the template you've made in frontpage, in dreamweaver. and start editing it. you'll see the errors. just fix it and save it. then copy and paste the entire html code into blogger. To do that it's easy. Just goto Template | Edit Template, and delete everything there. Then paste all the html code you've just made in dreamweaver or whatever program you used. Have fun. Buy Buy.
